VIBE Protocol Finder for Dogs: Which Protocol Should I Run?

Dogs rarely tell us exactly what is bothering them, so it helps to have a clear place to start. Pick a condition below and this finder shows the VIBE protocols designed around it, how long each one runs and the order to run them in.
It covers the core protocols and Brain Wave (expansion) protocols most relevant to dogs, from joint and mobility support for aging dogs to skin, digestion, calm and stress, recovery after surgery and immune support.
The same VIBE protocols can be used across the whole family. Click on the link for the VIBE Protocol Finder for People or the VIBE Protocol Finder for Horses
How to use the Protocol Finder
- Choose a condition from the first drop-down list. If there is no exact match, choose the closest match to your dog’s condition.
- Start with the core protocol shown first.
- For added support, follow it with any additional core protocols and the related brain wave protocols, which are run one after the other in the order shown.
- Try different combinations. Every dog responds differently, so start with one protocol, watch how your dog responds, then try a second on a different day or in combination.

Add it to Your Phone as an App
Keep the protocol finder one tap away. Add it to your home screen and it opens full-screen like an app, with its own icon. It is free, there is nothing to download from an app store, and it keeps working without an internet connection after the first time you open it.

Core Protocols and Expansion Protocols
Core protocols
These are the built-in items in your VIBE menu. Always start here when one is available for your condition.
Expansion protocols
These are combinations of the five Brain Wave protocols (Alpha, Beta, Delta, Gamma and Theta). They are not a single menu item, so run each brain wave protocol from the menu, one after the other.
Browse protocols by area of well-being
Not sure what to look for? These are the conditions the finder covers, grouped by theme. Each is a protocol designed around that concern, not a claim of medical effect.

Arthritis | Back Pain | General Inflammation | Hip Dysplasia | Ligament injuries | Mobility Issues (Weakness, Aging Dogs) | Musculoskeletal pain | Muscle Strains | Neck Pain | Nerve pain or neuropathy | Osteoarthritis | Pain | Tendon and Ligament Injuries

The Power of 4:
Calm, Balance and Emotional Support
If your dog is a rescue, there is a good chance they are carrying emotional stress from their past. The Power of 4 gives you a gentle, flexible set of protocols to try, alone or in combination.
Anxiety, Relax and Balance, Vagus Nerve and PTSD make up the Power of 4. The finder suggests them together on the Anxiety and Stress results. Some dogs find the Anxiety protocol is the right place to start, while others do better with the gentler Relax and Balance protocol. Try them alone or in combination and see what works best for your dog.
How the VIBE Protocols Work
Every VIBE protocol is built from pairs of values. One names a condition, such as inflammation or toxicity, and the other names the tissue it is sitting in, such as skin, nerve, muscle or joint. The pairing shifts as the session runs, so a protocol works through a sequence rather than holding a single setting.
Longer protocols group their pairs into phases with a shared purpose, for example calming inflammation, then working on the specific concern, then settling and restoring at the end. The finder shows each protocol’s run time, its phases and a sample of its frequency pairs. The device is lightweight and portable, and the Dog VIBE Vest or Bandana holds it close to your dog’s body so sessions can happen wherever your dog is comfortable.

Getting the Most from the Sessions
- Consistency is key. Aim for at least 3 to 4 sessions a week.
- Hydrate. Make sure your dog has plenty of water before sessions.
- Complete the session. Most protocols run 30 to 60 minutes, and the PTSD protocol runs up to 2.5 hours.
- Adjust the power. Use full power unless your dog is sensitive.
- Try different combinations. Every dog responds differently. Start with one protocol, observe how your dog responds, then try a second on a different day or in combination.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the VIBE Protocol Finder for dogs? It is a free tool on this page. You choose a condition from the drop-down list and it shows the VIBE protocols designed around it for your dog, how long each runs, and the order to use them in.
What is the difference between core and expansion protocols? Core protocols are the built-in items in the VIBE menu. Expansion protocols are combinations of the Brain Wave protocols (Alpha, Beta, Delta, Gamma and Theta). They are not a single menu entry, so you run each brain wave protocol from the menu, one directly after the other, in the order shown.
Which protocol should I start with? Start with the core protocol when there is one for the condition. For added support, follow it with the related expansion protocols.
How often should I use the VIBE with my dog? Consistency is key. Aim for at least 3 to 4 sessions a week, make sure your dog has plenty of water beforehand, and use full power unless your dog is sensitive.
Can the VIBE be used with a rescue dog? Rescue dogs can carry emotional stress from their past. The Power of 4 protocols (Anxiety, Relax and Balance, Vagus Nerve and PTSD) can be used alone or in combination, so you can find the best fit for your dog. The PTSD protocol runs for up to 2.5 hours.
What if the results show more than one core protocol? Every dog responds to frequency therapy differently. Start with one protocol and observe how your dog responds, then try a second on a different day or in combination. There is no one-size-fits-all solution, so try different combinations to find what works best for your dog.
How long does a session take? Most protocols run 30 to 60 minutes, and a few run longer. The finder shows the run time for each one, and each brain wave protocol runs for 30 minutes. It is best to let each session finish.
I can’t find my dog’s condition. What should I choose? Not every condition has its own protocol. If there is no exact match, choose the closest match to your dog’s condition. The Pain option is a good starting point for general discomfort, or get in touch and we will help you choose.
Is the VIBE a medical device, and does it replace veterinary care? No. The VIBE is a wellness device intended to support relaxation, comfort and general well-being. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and it does not replace veterinary care. Always consult your veterinarian about your dog’s health, and do not stop or change prescribed care.
